Welcome to the Nassau County Real Estate Market Update. This months report covers activity from August of 2021 compared to July of 2021.

Quick summary…. Properly priced homes are moving off the market extremely quickly. The current low interest rates, combined with extremely high demand has created a shortage of active inventory. Multiple offers and long lines at open houses are all too common and inventory levels continue to decline. There are now more real estate agents than there are homes for sale on Long Island (Insert your joke of choice here 😂).

Smart home sellers know that a well executed strategic plan is the key to not only getting their price, but guaranteeing any buyer is well qualified, all potential legal issues are properly addressed, and the timing of the closing meets their needs.
